Jesus is the only One that died for our sins, and rose from the dead, and salvation is found in no one else but Him alone. Sadly, many run from this free gift of salvation, and choose to stay in their sin rather then repent.  Incredibly, we find God still extending His Love, Grace, and Salvation in the great tribulation period.  But you don't have to wait until then; you can receive this free gift today.

The resurrecton of Jesus Christ is the greatest event in human history, because in it death was defeated.  No those who believe can truly say with the scripture "O Death, where is your sting?" We don't only celebrate this once a year, but everyday.  And we anticipate for many more to come to know His Love, and be born-again. For the Christian, the cross is the answer to many questions, but above all... the cross demonstrates the Love of God for His creation. The Bible says in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Pastor Jeff will explain more on this, as he concludes the message called "The Cross."

In 1865 a women named Elvina Hall sat with her church choir and began to reflect on the Cross of Christ.  In her reflection, she penned the words to the famous hymn known as "Jesus Paid It All."  This song expresses the magnificent truth that when Jesus died on the cross, He took upon Himself the punishment for all sin.  We will continue our study on the cross today on Sound Doctrine.

The days we are living in are getting darker.  What is the solution when wars and disasters continue to flood our world?  It's very simple... The Cross of Calvary.  1 Corinthians 1:18 says, "The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."  Today, Pastor Jeff delivers part 1 of a life saving message called "The Cross."

Jesus: The Son of God, made his trimphal entry on a donkey.  The Romans saw this as comical, but as we've discovered in our previous lesson, this demonstrates the humility of God.  Today, we will end part 3 of our study on the trimphal entry of Christ.

Luke 14:11 says, "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."  There is no greater picture of this, then that of Jesus in the scriptures.  While kings and rulers rode into cities with there black stallions... Christ made his trimphal entry on the back of a donkey.  We'll discover the reason behind this today on Sound Doctrine.
