Don’t underestimate God. He knows what we need, and He provides strength for each day. When we rely on Him, God blesses our efforts, and He allows us to overcome our trials, and in turn be an encouragement to those who are struggling. Pastor Jeff also warns us not to be careless and neglect the Word in these last days. We must guard the truth and not allow others to pervert it.

How exactly does God’s election work? Some people think that this means that we don’t need to pray or evangelize because God has already chosen who will be saved and who will not. But Pastor Jeff reminds us that we are to be co-laborers with Christ! He calls us to pray and to evangelize the lost so that they might come to Him.

How are we to live today? God tells us to be thankful, and to constantly strengthen our prayer lives in preparation for His coming. In today’s study, Pastor Jeff talks about God’s chosen people. Each of us who know the Lord has been chosen to receive salvation. God knew our weaknesses and anger before we were saved, and yet He loved us still.

As believers, we are excited and ready for the Lord to come again. But God commands us to “occupy until He comes.” In today’s study, Pastor Jeff exhorts us to focus on the day at hand instead of just waiting around for the Lord to return. We only have a short time to do God’s work, and He commands us to spread the Good News while we are here!

What is one of the most dangerous sins? Pastor Jeff reminds us that the angel Lucifer became Satan because of his arrogance. Beware of your own pride! Once we start thinking we are better than others, we fall prey to Satan’s tricks. You’re responsible for the choices you make. Stay in the Word, and let God influence your choices, not Satan!

God gives us the wherewithal to be overcomers! As we get into the Word, Pastor Jeff reminds us of the precious promises from Scripture. We need to make God our priority. Once we do that, God will put our lives in His perfect order! He is coming soon, and we need to be ready!

As we continue our study in 2 Thessalonians, Pastor Jeff gives us clear, concise teaching on a subject that we often talk about in regards to the end times: the antichrist. Paul warns that his coming will deceive many people into thinking that he is good. This can be a lesson to us. As Christians, we must be discerning! By staying in God’s Word, we will have the wisdom to know who is truly of Christ and who is not.

We as believers have great hope in the last days! In today’s study, Pastor Jeff talks about Paul’s teachings on the rapture. First, there will be a sudden, physical removal of God’s church from the earth. This is followed by a tribulation of seven years. Though the end times can be a fearful subject, we know that God is in control, and we must look forward to His coming again!

Life is full of choices. You can choose to please the Lord or you can choose to disappoint Him. In His Word, God outlines what He desires for our lives. We have so much freedom in Him. Why choose to sin and do things that are contrary to Scripture? Honor Christ’s sacrifice and live to please Him!

All the prophecy we need is located right in Scripture. Sadly, there are many false prophets today who claim to know exactly when Christ is coming, and who make projections based on false pretenses. The Scriptures says that prophecy is to comfort, edify, and exhort us to serve the Lord until He comes again. Ask God for wisdom to discern the truth!

The Bible reveals many signs that point to the end times. In Daniel, we see that knowledge will increase. The world around us is certainly increasing in knowledge! We have incredible technology, but we will also have increased knowledge of the secrets of scriptures. Stay in the Word, and be amazed at what God reveals to you.
