Today, we are completing a very encouraging study from Romans chapter 9. Before God created you, He designed you to be a vessel of glory for His praise. Unfortunately, people can become discontent with there position in Christ. But today, Pastor Jeff will teach us Gods purpose will be worked out through us, and its better than what we could have imagined on our own. Stay tuned for the conclusion to the series, “He’s the Potter”.

When we think of choice, we usually consider what’s best for us. This would seem to be reasonable right? Well today on Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff Johnson is teaching that when God made a choice to extend mercy, it wasn’t for His benefit, but for ours. Well, of all the choices that God has at His disposal, the greatest choice He made was also the most selfless choice ever! That is, God chose to have mercy on us all. Today on Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff is in Romans chapter 9 beginning at verse 6 in the study titled, “Gods Choice”. And we will learn what that choice means for us.

Today, we are completing a very important series that is as relevant today, as it was thousands of years ago. In the book of Malachi God declares, “I do not change”. This is one of Gods great attributes that we need constant reminding of. We pick up with Pastor Jeff in Romans chapter 9 explaining about Israel’s rejection of Jesus, but Gods continual faithfulness to them!

When you look to the nation of Israel, you cannot deny that God has been faithful to keep His promise. Pastor Jeff is in the book of Romans chapter 9, and we are learning that God is faithful to complete that which He has started. We need reminders like this, so we can remember to trust in the Lord.

With the election season in full force it can become discouraging, when we look to the presidential candidates for hope. Today on Sound Doctrine, Pastor Jeff is encouraging us to look to the nation of Israel to see that our hope, rests in God.

Pastor Jeff is using Paul’s example, as a motivation for us to reach the lost that are caught up in the false religion of Islam. When Jesus called Peter, James, and John he said he would make them “fishers of men”. That vocation is still applicable to us today. We encourage you to turn in your bibles to Romans chapter 9, and stay tuned for the message, “A Fisher of Men (a response to Islam).

Today we are completing Romans Chapter 8. Pastor Jeff is teaching us about some great news! The Apostle Paul’s trust in Gods love was marrow deep. He knew nothing on earth, or in heaven could separate us from our heavenly Father. Many of us need to be reminded of this incredible truth, and promise. We invite you to open your bible and follow along in the conclusion of the message; “No Separation” from Romans Chapter 8.
