Thanks for joining us today on Sound Doctrine Radio with Pastor Jeff Johnson. Joshua is an exciting book of conquest, enemies and victory. The Old Testament is a picture of the New Testament and has great insight for us to learn. Joshua is engaging in heavy warfare, and God shows up to fight for Israel. Although the Old Testament is filled with many miraculous events, the greatest miracle of all is Christ dying for sinful man to give him eternal life. It always hurts us, though not at first, but sins reward is death. In Joshua chapter 7 we learned about Achan sinning. It caused a defeat for the nation of Israel.
