Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb: “I am the Lord, who makes all things, who stretches out the heavens all alone, who spreads abroad the earth by Myself…”   --Isaiah 44:24

Benjamin Disraell said that great nations rise and fall. First, they’re delivered from bondage by spiritual truth. After spiritual truth come great courage, then followed by liberty and abundance. But in this process of the cycle of nations follow abundance come selfishness, complacency, apathy, dependence, and back to bondage.

We are seeing this terrible cycle completed in America, I fear. This generation is dark and deadly. The evil one roams and prows like a lion seeking whom he may devour. And no one is immune — even the little ones in their mother’s womb. Just as Moses was a gift, so are all children.

Our children are not our own — they are produced and possessions of God. It is our responsibility to nurture, cherish, and prepare our boys and girls just like Moses’ parents, Amram and Jochebed, fearlessly, courageously, and strategically did when they put him in a basket, floated him down the Nile, and sought to send him to safety among the Egyptians. No one knew what a great leader and deliverer of the children of Israel he would be, but his parents had faith that God had a special plan for him.

Unfortunately, in our self-centered generation, some people see their children as an inconvenience and parenting as a burden rather than a blessing. In Galatians 1:15, Paul made the declaration, “God… separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace.” As a believer, you were fashioned by the hand of God and called to do something special for His purposes. Teach your children this important principle: You are valuable because you bear the signature and stamp of authenticity by God Almighty.

ALL LIFE IS PRECIOUS. CHERISH IT BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT GREAT LEADER OR SPECIAL CHILD IS IN YOUR BASKET.
