This weeks guest is Professor Bill Brown from the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Bill and Gerry look at the fact that 149 million people recreate in the outdoors in the USA, add the 16 years old and younger and that is more than half of the nation’s population. On top of that, most outdoor outreach sees men coming and 93% of the time if we can get the father, the husband to come to Christ the family will follow. Also reflected in this interview is how important building relationships is in seeing others come to Christ.

The author Dr. Richard Swenson who not only was a surgeon and taught surgery at the University of Madison in Wisconsin, but also minored in physics. He walks the listeners through the mathematical and scientific proof that points to Creation vs. Evolution.

Craig Johnson, Charcoal Valley Realty owner that sells recreational real estate in Wisconsin, shares about growing up in a home with alcoholism and how he too became an alcoholic. Craig relates to the listeners how he was contemplating ending his life and asked God to make Himself known to him. God did this through seven outdoorsmen who he met in a period of 7 weeks.

About Dean Hulce

Dean Hulce was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he spent every weekend in the woods or on the water with family and friends.  After graduation he married his highschool sweetheart Linda.  They have two boys and 5 grandchildren. 

Dean has written for several hunting and fishing magazines over the last 25 years. He has guided  hunters and fisherman as well as run hunting fishing camps from South Texas to Alaska and many states and provinces in between.  In the last 10 years Dean has written a daily devotional that goes out to thousands each day. He had published 5 devotional books, using hunting stories to bring a message to people.  He has traveled across the USA speaking to groups, spreading the gospel through outdoor experiences.

Dean has no doubt that God has prepared him his entire life for his position with God's Great Outdoors Ministry
