Many of us frequent fliers have experienced the frustration of waiting for the plane to take off. Perhaps the weather conditions aren’t just right, or there is ice on the wings. We’re trusting the airlines with our lives, and so we really shouldn’t mind waiting to make sure things are safe. As Christians, we’ve been waiting around for Christ to return for centuries, but there are good reasons for the delay.
