The Power of His Resurrection in Our Lives Part 5

April 8, 2016
Jesus’ worldview is the same as God the Father. Ours should not be different. Let us always keep in mind that at the beginning of His public life Jesus proclaimed the arrival of the Kingdom of God and all the way to his crucifixion he manifested God's Kingdom in practical life. After his resurrection for the next forty days He continued teaching about the Kingdom of God. The power of His resurrection in our lives is to manifest solutions to all areas of God's worldview.

A worldview can be true, half true or a total lie. The ideas that dominate our inner world, is the real us. The origin of a worldview is spiritual not just the product of our mind. The God of the Bible is truth. He is consistent with His revealed truth verified through the facts of reality. His facts are the integration of character, virtue and consistency and He has made all of that available to His born-again believers.

The power of the resurrection of Christ has a broad meaning, which includes ‘might, strength, force; ability, or capability. We cannot emphasize enough the fact that the same power of God in Christ is the same power available to us in our lives. "[A]nd what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might." Ephesians 1:19

From the moment we accept Jesus into our lives, our intimate relationship with the Son of God begins. We too, like Paul, can make it our utmost ambition to know him. In Christ is all the fullness of knowledge and is imparted to us so we can be effective in all that we are to do. Just as Christ is committed to us; he expects us to be committed to Him that all His glory may be made manifest.

Is it possible for us to understand the true meaning of the resurrection of Christ in our lives? Is it possible for us to measure the level of progress in our new life in Christ? Is it possible to make the difference in the culture and the world? The simple answer to these questions and many others related to these three questions is a resounding YES! The people less confused, more knowledgeable and better prepared to engage in life should be the ones who profess to be saved and born-again in Christ Jesus.

The power of Christianity is so real that its effects are undeniable. After the resurrection and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, the disciples became bold and unstoppable, they had all the evidence needed to move forward with the Good News; they feared not what man could do to them even to the point of death. The biblical fact is that the knowledge of God is going to fill the earth as the waters cover the sea; this has been in progress for a long time and will continue to march on.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension to heaven explains the highest purpose for humanity. We are born for something far greater than we can ever imagine. Jesus’ resurrection proves He was and is the Son of God and the Mediator between God the Father and us. Jesus didn’t just come to save us from our sins to only offer eternal life after we die, but to implement God’s restoration of all things according to the original plan at creation.

Two thousand years of Christian biblical history corroborates the influence of God’s people, and it’s promised to increase not decrease. Even after two millennia, people still find it hard to believe and accept what Jesus accomplished on the cross, that will not diminish His marvelous work to redeem us and His creation. Any attempts to defeat or minimize the impact of Christ's work will always fail.

Without the destruction of sin and death by Christ at the cross and His resurrection there would be no hope for humanity. There is no other in all of history capable of redeeming humanity. The cross was a high price for Christ to pay to pull us out of self-destruction and darkness. People can deny this all they want but it doesn't change the truth. We many failures in history that will remind us of this.

In most parts of the world, Christianity is under attack. These attacks vary from genocide to incarceration, limiting the freedom to express their faith, smothering and pushing it out of existence by secularism or humanism, to the very real attacks by institutionalized Christianity. Without a doubt, biblical Christianity has many enemies. Here in the USA is no exception, even though Christianity is the foundation of this country and the reason for liberty and progress, the attacks are increasing in efforts to crush Christianity and put it out of existence. Can Christianity ever be eradicated?

Is Jesus a divider? He certainly is. When we chose His way it will separate us from a mere earthly purpose for our lives. The only thing that Satan can offer humans is unhappiness and eternal hell. It is our choice to be with or against Christ and the kingdom of God. To say that Jesus is the divider makes perfect sense. For Christ’s disciples, life here on earth is in no way a contrast with the one to come for all eternity, it wasn’t for Jesus, and it is not for His people. Life has only one perspective and we must embrace it here and now and what awaits us after our earthly physical death.

About The Future of America

We want to help restore America's original foundation in biblical Christian principles which made it the most powerful and prosperous nation in the world in a relatively short time but America has not reached it full potential. Ideas have consequences and they are passed on from generation to generation. To eradicate error, the moral and ethical principles of the Bible must be firmly established in the hearts and minds of each individual. If America is going to survive, its citizens must become re-acquainted with its history, heritage and biblical immovable principles and apply them once again to all areas of life. We hope this program will inspire and challenge you so together we can fulfill our responsibility before God and country to make the difference for our generation many generations to come.
