When Adam & Eve sinned in Eden, God drove them out and stationed Cherubim with flaming swords to keep them from the Way to the Tree of Life. In the Tabernacle Moses erected a veil embroidered with golden Cherubim to guard the way to the Holiest. But when Jesus died on the Cross, the veil was rent down the middle opening the Way to Paradise!
