Although founded by Bible-believers, America is becoming a pluralistic nation as we continue to import other gods. Paul confronted wholesale idolatry in Athens where there was even a shrine to "The Unknown God." He cleverly used this to tell them about the Creator God who cannot be reduced to an idol made by hands.

Moreover, in times past God winked at the sins of the nations, but now that He sent His Son to reveal Himself and pay for their sins, He is not winking anymore! It is time for them to seek after Him, because He has made of one blood all nations, and there are not other gods for other people.
