The 16th century mathematician Charles Bovillus said, "Many wild beasts lie lurking under the skin of man." This statement seen in light of Galatians 5 is spot on. The flesh is a terrible enemy that has a ferocious appetite.  It's very important for the Christian to understand their enemy.
