‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.’ Well the Gospel account gives us a very different scene than the old St. Nick poem. It was a very busy night in Bethlehem. Gifts were presented. A chorale of Angels was singing. But, what the shepherds and the wise men didn’t know that night was that the baby Jesus had gifts for them, and the whole world.
