Jesus had a lot of enemies. In fact many of his enemies joined forces in an attempt to have him destroyed. So they devised a plan to betray him and have him executed. What they didn’t realize because of the hardness of their hearts was that no one takes Jesus life from Him. He lays it down willingly.
