eff is currently taking us verse by verse through the Old Testament book of Second Samuel. There is one central figure in this book, and that of course is David. But there are a whole bunch of other people as well - some good and some bad. Last time, in Second Samuel twenty, a man named Joab - one of David’s main guys, got some help from a wise woman, and it all results in a head being thrown over a wall! Goodness!
