Jesus has clear expectations of his followers, and of his local churches. It's our job to make sure He's pleased. His words to seven churches in Revelation describe conditions no different than those we face today. And the response Jesus wanted to see from them is the response he desires from us: repentance where necessary, and a resumption of doing the works he approves.
