As the songwriter penned, “Love is a Many-Splendored Thing.” And its greatest splendors are found in 1 Corinthians 13. Real love seeks the good of others first, and our personal benefit last. This is a far cry from the way people are attracted to each other these days. But as Christians, we are held to a higher standard. We are called to love others as Christ has.
