It was a moment of destiny. In Jerusalem's temple, Simeon holds the baby Jesus, and his life would never be the same. Now, some two thousand years later, we need to recognize what Simeon recognized...that Christ has authority over all mankind...and that our job is to heed His words: repent, and believe, because this baby determines the destiny of us all.
