Shortly after the birth of Christ, an old man had the experience of a lifetime. A young couple brought to him the infant Son of God. We who run life's race can scarcely imagine what went through the mind of Simeon, that righteous man in the temple at Jerusalem. His job was to perform a ceremony done for all newborn Jewish males. But this baby was different, and Simeon knew it.
