The Hill of Ares in Athens is a mound of granite facing the famous Acropolis with its temples to pagan gods. At this hill, Paul the Apostle presented the gospel with power to a group of philosophers who enjoyed argument.   Little did they know that they were watching the beginning of a spiritual tidal wave that would engulf the known world of their time. Today: what happened at a hill also known as Mars Hill.
