The Apostle Paul received a vision calling him to preach in Macedonia, and immediately he set out to obey that vision. With him were Silas and Timothy, and their first stop was at Philippi. The power of the spirit was in evidence as people readily responded to Paul’s message. Among those who believed was a merchant woman whose heart had been prepared by God.
