When we think of Palm Sunday, we think of adoring crowds cheering a King. We don't tend to think of a cursed fig tree. But just one day after riding into Jerusalem, Jesus did indeed curse a fig tree for not bearing fruit. As we come to understand this event, it's clear that our bearing fruit is very important to God.
