Being a winning athlete means getting knocked around a lot. Most sports take quite a physical toll on those who strive for victory. It’s no different in the race of life. It’s only through some hard knocks that we learn to help others face their hard knocks. Learning to endure hardness was advice Paul gave, advice you and I need to hear in this age of self-gratification.
