Sometimes, we are tempted to take the easy way out of a trial, even though we know that the easy way is not God’s way. Jesus, hungry and thirsty, was offered all the kingdoms of the world if only He would worship Satan. Sometimes we see a quick solution to our crisis, and we are tempted to dishonor God to meet legitimate needs.
