You always listen closely to someone's last words. The disciples certainly did before they saw Jesus rise into heaven. Like a runner in a race, Jesus passed the baton to those He trained to carry the gospel to the ends of the earth. His words in Acts chapter one galvanized His followers then, as they should us who believe now.
