On a high mountain, Jesus gave three disciples a blinding vision of the future. Moses and Elijah appeared with Him, symbolizing Jesus as fulfilling both the law and the prophets. The experience was so powerful that, years later, Peter wrote of it as being “on the Holy Mountain.”
