Some of us had bad fathers. But unless we are reconciled with them, we won’t be able to stop the cycle of family breakdown. When it comes to family life, the Bible shows us both the good and the bad in the lives of kings and commoners alike. As dads, we can avoid the mistakes our fathers made if we make peace with them, and then resolve to live godly lives as examples for our own kids.
