Ancient Babylon’s leaders had no idea that their time was up. A festive party ended in the King’s death, and God’s judgment was served. Modern America also has no idea how many minutes are left on its ticking clock. In this message, we will see our handwriting on the wall.

When God says a nation is doomed, that doom is certain. Belshazzar’s feast began with revelry and ended with Belshazzar dead. Babylon died with him, as might America if we don’t heed the warnings of God.

Daniel’s friends went along with their Babylonian captors, but drew the line when their consciences told them to. Some life situations force us to make tough choices. Today we will learn how to live by the Bible’s principles when making them.

When the government creates a law, and the Bible tells us to do the opposite, what do we do? The answers are not always clear, since we are called to obey those who rule over us. We can learn from four men handled who this in ancient Babylon.
