One Minute After You Die
Many people spend more time planning for a vacation than preparing for eternity. Perhaps it doesn't seem real that we will still exist—fully conscious and alive—beyond the grave. But it's true, and it calls for careful consideration. In this updated edition of One Minute After You Die, bestselling author Erwin Lutzer urges readers to study what the Bible says. Can near-death experiences teach us anything about life after death? How can we prepare for our own final moment? With 700,000 copies in print, this bestselling work makes an encouraging gift for believers and a tasteful word of caution for the undecided. While living in Corinth, Paul made tents and taught in the local synagogue. Through his efforts, a church was born and we still read two epistles written to it in the New Testament.

If you’re a missionary in a city where the Gospel has never been heard, how would you begin? We can learn from the Apostle Paul who knew that a transforming message, through the power of the Holy Spirit was the way to start.

To see a place where Paul the Apostle preached, visit the ancient ruins of Corinth in Greece. You’ll find an amazing excavation of the very streets and buildings that Paul saw when he first brought the Gospel to this crossroads of the ancient world.

Paul became the Apostle to the Gentiles, moving aggressively to cities in Greece and beyond with the Holy Spirit directing his energies and birthing faith wherever he preached. In this message we’ll examine that power on display atop a famous hill in a city known for its philosophers.

What’s the best way to witness to people about Jesus? Paul taught us how in Acts 17. He found out where they were coming from and focused his message on what they already knew. To an audience of philosophers, he talked about their monument to an unknown god.
