Faith in the Gospel comes as a gift from God because just hearing the story of Jesus being born of a virgin, living a sinless life, dying and being raised again sounds foolish to anyone. No matter the position, earthly wisdom or influence that a person has, God can still grant them faith to believe and use their societal status for His glory.
