Too often people think that they can go to church, sit in the “sanctuary,” be in the presence of God and then leave Him there as they go on about the rest of their daily lives. Since Christ came, died and was resurrected, the veil of the temple was torn and things have changed. For believers, our bodies are God’s sanctuary. Everywhere we go we bring Him with us. And when we congregate in a church setting it is more than a weekly dose of the Lord; we are coming together as the Church, the Body of Christ. Since our bodies make up God’s temple, we should treat them accordingly.
