Everyone has experienced overwhelming shame at some point in his or her life.  However, we must never be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which we must proclaim to the world.  Our shame over our sin brings us to repentance, and it is because of God’s grace that He disciplines us.  Despite all that we may do to bring shame to ourselves, God is a Father who will never be ashamed of us.
