When looking at Scripture, it can be as confusing as looking at a sheet of paper with a whole bunch of random dots on it. We need someone to connect the dots for us so that we can then connect them for others. The Bible is filled with truths about God, creation, sin, Jesus’ birth, death and resurrection, and instructions for life. While it’s good to go to church and hear a sermon that helps connect some dots, it is essential for the follower of Christ to read the Bible themselves and learn to connect the dots that they read and study. Once we are able to connect dots ourselves, Jesus tells us to disciple others (connect the dots for them) and teach them to do the same.
