When it comes to the Bible, we are without excuse. All of us have access to the truth. Jesus, through His Word reveals to us that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, and He will never leave us or forsake us. Rejecting Christ is rejecting salvation and eternal life with Him.

Jesus is reaching out to the world, but many won’t come. His hand is extended towards the lost, but many will fail to grab hold and be saved. It’s only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. But, sadly many will refuse the invitation.

Many will come to us with a different Christ than who we know from the Bible. Jesus Christ is the one and only Messiah. He willfully suffered for the sake of the Gospel, and He loved us enough to shed His blood to save us.

Verses 18 thru 22 of 2 Peter Chapter 3, are difficult and challenging verses to consider. Peter is urging the Christ follower to dig deeper. We’re often tempted to glance through scripture, and move past that which makes us uncomfortable. But, the passion of the Gospel must be studied and proven to be true in our hearts.

Whatever is going on in our lives, we can still have peace. When we’re trusting in Jesus, He will see us through. It’s what He does. When our faith is in Christ, all things work together for the good.

When you surrender your life to Jesus Christ, get ready to have your conscience cleared. Our sins are washed away, and our guilt will no longer run our lives. When we invest in eternity, we are set free from the past and look forward to the future.

What is truth?” In a world where we’re bombarded with lies, people are following a perverted truth. They think they don’t need God, and that science has all the answers. But, the Christ follower knows that Jesus is the way the truth, and the life, and that His Word is true.

The true passion of the believer is to be excited about the Lord’s return. Christ has prepared a place for us, and to not give an answer of why we believe what we believe, is to perhaps deny someone the opportunity to receive Him.

We’re not to put God in a compartment, only bringing Him out when it’s convenient. If our life doesn’t emulate Christ, we won’t make a difference. We’ll only support our lack of knowledge. People aren’t reading the Bible, they’re reading us, and how we live.

It shouldn’t surprise us when we’re being attacked for our faith. It’s why we must have an answer for what we believe in, and speak in our defense with humility and respect.
