The Christian wife is a woman of power, and holds many titles. She’s described in the Bible as a life giver, a comforter, a prayer warrior, and an encourager. She works hard managing her household, but she’s also an equal follower, and a lover to her husband.

Husbands have also been given a unique love. A love so deep that it puts the desire in his wife to draw even closer to the Lord. Gentle, kind and caring, he’s engaged in her world with encouraging words that causes her to blossom as a woman.

God has given the husband not just a unique position, but also a unique responsibility. They are to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and gave Himself for it. As head of the house, husbands are to carry the burden of their wives, while still being equally joint heirs of God’s Kingdom.
