Who is Worthy to Open the Scroll Part 1

Today we turn your attention to Revelation chapter five. As the apostle John is ushered up into heaven for a look around he described what he saw. And today we’ll notice that he focuses on a scroll in the right hand of the Father. The question is asked, Who is worthy to open the scroll? And as we’ll discover today, the answer is Jesus, the lamb of God.

Pastor James is in Revelation chapter four today. The central focus in this chapter is the throne of God. Really all of creation revolves around the throne. Jesus is Lord and in control, working all things together according to His will and good purposes.

Just think of it, the apostle John had the great privilege of being taken into the heavenly realm. We stand to benefit, as he described what he saw here in Revelation. Today in chapter four the focus is on the throne of God. Who’s on it, what’s around it, and what’s coming from it too!

And unlike the church we looked at previously, the Lord has really nothing good to say to this group! Today pastor James is going to focus our attention on the beginning of the letter, which reminds us that Jesus is always faithful and true.

Today we’ll finish our study of the Lord’s letter to the church of Philadelphia, in Revelation chapter three verses seven through thirteen. This letter is full of good news and encouragement to a body of believers who were faithful. And today we’ll notice that as we’re faithful to the Lord, He’ll protect and reward us!
