Just like Paul, we can expect some level of suffering as we serve the Lord. It won’t be easy, but we have a good and gracious God that will help us through.

Maybe like so many you can say you grew in your love for Jesus during that time, like no other season in your life! Keeping that perspective will serve to help you avoid throwing in the towel.

When we’re facing difficulties it can be very discouraging! You might be thinking you’re all alone when it’s happening. But today on Light on the Hill we’ll discover the Lord will be with us through every storm. In Second Corinthians chapter four we’ll also learn how God can use the difficulties you’re facing in life to not only reveal Himself to you but to others too.

As we turn back to Second Corinthians today, we notice some in the church had lost focus. They received this letter from the apostle Paul reminding them that the ministry is to be about Jesus. It’s a good reminder for us today as we so often struggle in that area.
