A suicide attempt at age 16 left Emma Benoit partially paralyzed. But her recovery, both physical and mental, has propelled her on a mission to use her painful experience to help other young people find hope. She reminds people, “those thoughts are not serving you. Express your pains and your hurts, find someone, they're out there to open up to.” Emma tells Dr. Clinton that God is on the throne of our lives too, and no one has to suffer in silence. There's always someone in your corner to provide help and steps towards healing.
