The key to deliverance - that one ingredient that without it nothing else works - is the Lordship of Christ. The overall theme in I Peter 4:1-5 is keeping our Christian lives in perspective. You will suffer, you will be rejected, and you will be tempted. But because our lives are about something higher, we will not stop or quit. One thing must be clear - Jesus is Lord. And He always will be.
