The Lion's roar does not represent subtly, but hunger. Satan's fierceness is found in his ability to go undetected. Satan is by nature a liar. In our culture his stratagems are mostly quiet, meant to cunningly cause our life to drift away from truth. He is always looking for areas of weakness to base his attack - places where we are not defending the fort of our soul. Deception is deception because we do not know we are deceived!
