Marital submission might be the most misunderstood premise in marriage. It sounds so barbaric! When you take the entire book of Ephesians you can see the big picture. In a grace-filled relationship, a wife can come under her husband, and put to his service everything that is female to enable him to be all that God wants him to be. The same with the husband as he comes under his wife to serve her - he enables her to be all that she can be in the kingdom of God. The conflict today is that people do not want to serve one another.
