Our church's mission statement is, "Grace Connection Church exists to equip its members to carry the message of Jesus Christ into their world." Jeremiah 29 is a letter he wrote to the Israelites that were carried off in the Babylonian captivity. They were about 800 miles from home. Jeremiah had 3 things to say in this passage if we are to understand the fact that we have been called to be witnesses in our WORLD. Settle in, be good citizens, and remember it's all temporary. We have a real future and a real hope.
