What is the core issue of your life?  We must get to the core issues of our life and the core issues of the Gospel if our lives are to bear good fruit.  In order to bear good fruit - we must have good roots. The theological roots of the Gospel must be poured into your soul in order to live this Christian life bearing good fruit. The Pharisee had good fruits - but Christ said his roots were corrupt.The sinner who relied on the mercy of God had good fruit - repentance. And God recognized it.
