LifeWay Research found that 70% of Christian church attendees from the millenial generation quit attending church by age twenty-three. The LifeWay findings were so radical that Thom Rainer told USA Today, "The Millennial generation will see churches closing as quickly as GM dealerships." (This was before the government bailout.)
