You wouldn't drive to a spectacular hiking site and then just stare at the sign to the summit. There are spiritual signs such as circumcision, communion, and baptism, and so often people just stare at the signs. Let's go to Christ instead.

We need to be brought back to God's Word in our approach to ministry. The church is not a business selling a product to consumers. We are farmers going out to sow a seed, or fisherman going out to fish.

We don't seem to want to become mature as a society. You could argue that the church is beginning to do the same. We don't want to get into perfectionism, but we must look at the end goal of finishing mature in Christ.
