Michael Salman, an Arizona man, has been sentenced to two months in jail and $12,000 in fines for doing what the disciples did—hosting a church meeting in his home. The authorities claim that this is not religious persecution but public safety. If only he was doing something safe—like hosting a poker game—he wouldn’t have gotten in trouble.
