Today It’s Jack. Tomorrow You? - Persecution, Euthanasia on the Rise

March 30, 2021

The Colorado baker Jack Phillips enters Round four or five of persecution at the hands of the homosexual community. But, Franklin Graham has a message for you. "Today it's Jack. Tomorrow it could be you." This also brings up the conversation of euthanasia. There seems to be a direct correlation between the aging population percentage in any given country and its euthanasia policy. Could there be a connection here?

Colorado had its worst three fires in history last year. California had their seven worst fires in history last year. Australia had their worst fires in a long time just last year. . . now the worst floods of the century. Does God send fires and floods? Or does man cause fires and floods by heating up the globe? Who's ultimately in control here? Humanists say man is in control. Christians say God is in control, but God isn't the "nice guy" that everybody wants him to be. Will these natural disasters teach our children to fear God?

The question of whether our sons might volunteer for military service is more complicated in a radically post-Christian and anti-Christian culture. Will he be forced to call a he “a she?” Is he going to be ready for the court martial? Does a Christian help on the staff producing movies of the XXX variety? At what point does the Christian come out from among them and be separate? Thorny questions addressed on this edition of the program.

Is Islamic terrorism back into the US? Islamic terror had increased by orders of magnitude during the Obama administration and then calmed down (worldwide) during the Trump administration. Governments serve as a terror to evildoers, but do gun laws serve as terror to evildoers or onerous regulations on law-abiding citizens? We take a look at a biblical approach to gun laws and gun ownership.

Polyamory partnerships (or whatever it is) was first recognized in Cambridge, MA, in 2021, and the first domestic partnership law for homosexuals was passed in Berkeley in 1984. So, when will polygamy and polyamory be instituted by the US Supreme Court? We estimate that will be around 2036. A Colorado bill is looking at establishing a "Ministry of Truth," to be sure that all podcasts, etc., conform to the politically correct standards. When will Christians have to move to a state where freedom of speech will be protected?

Fox News' Tucker Carlson steps in it when he goes after the sacred cow of feminism. There's still an occasional person who limps up to explain it once more, but then he's laughed off the stage. Tucker's comments suggesting that pregnant women fitted out for combat is way beyond the pale of sanity incites more deprecations from the insane. Oh well. . . . We take another look at Deuteronomy 22:5 and Deuteronomy 20:6-9, and then introduce the historical pattern. What does a world power look like when it shrivels up and dies? We contrast China and America's armed forces, naval strength, and potential.

Inflation is on the rise. Gas is up 28%. Lumber is up 180%. Food commodities are up 50% over last summer. Money is made out of thin air, and now folks want to invest it in thin air. We explain cryptocurrency, inflation, and Keynesian stimulus using a couple of allegories, so kids will understand what this is all about. If you wanted to invest in one of Kevin Swanson's bitcoin rocks buried around the world, you'll want to listen to this program. We also answer listeners' questions: Where in the world do you invest your savings in the present chaos?

Pastor Michael Thiessen, Campaign Manager for Liberty Coalition Canada joins us for a lively discussion on the battle for liberty. The moment of truth is upon us. Will Pastor Coates and Pastor Thiessen succeed, or will liberties for church meetings be severely curtailed in Canada? Will Christians be finally forced to flee?

The 2021 Grammys broke through another threshold in the decline of Western culture, as the last vestiges of what could have conserved culture surrendered to self-immolation. Women now lead the cultural suicide almost exclusively. Once more, we trace the trend from the 1960 Grammys to the very end in 2021. But, what about the conservative edge in the heartland--Country Music? The leading voices are now exclusively pro-LGBT, pro-Black Lives Matter, and self-conscious Christian apostates. We’ve come a long way from Charlie Daniels, Merle Haggard, and Johnny Horton. We close the program with an encouragement to right communion--contrasting the fellowship of the unfruitful works of darkness with the fellowship in the light in the Holy Spirit.

Here is a powerful update on persecution and the unprecedented growth of the church in the Middle East and North Africa. There is a virtual pentecost happening in this area of the world. How do Christians react to the ebb and flow of persecution in Iran, Egypt, Algeria, and elsewhere? We receive a first hand report from a veteran on the field for fifty years. You don't want to miss this engaging interview with Victor Attalah from Middle East Reformed Fellowship.

Online child exploitation virtually doubled last year. And since the sexual revolution, child exploitation and sexual sin has exploded. How should the church respond to these sins? What about pastors who fall into the sin? We pull from the wisdom of church history, and encourage that all sins, especially the notorious sexual sin be brought out into the light.
