The Imperialists. The Communists. The Taliban. Fox News and CNN keep asking us, “Whose side are you on?” Harking back to Rambo III and James Bond, we remember when we were all supposed to be on the side of the Pashtun-Taliban people. So, whose side are we supposed to be on? The Pharisees or the Sadducees? Christians must be careful about these state issues in which we’re supposed to find the better of two evils. But what is to be done about the injustices in the world, and the constant flow of evil dictators that seem to ooze out of these non-Christian nations? The Scriptures provide us the definition of the wicked and righteous, and that line of antithesis is to be maintained, no matter what.  

Kevin Swanson and Bill Jack address the current situation in Afghanistan. Most of the world believes that the government can be the one to fix our problems, but this is something that can only be left to God. When the Gospel goes forth, this is when true change is seen, and not 20+ years of government intervention, whether it be in Afghanistan, Vietnam, or “the war on drugs.”

Per Barna, only 6% of Christians have a Christian worldview, down from 12% in 1995. That’s 2% for the younger generation. Why are churches so powerless to stop the bleeding? How have we been so profoundly unsuccessful at reaching the younger generation? Have the worldview ministries failed? Have the Christian colleges failed? Ken Ham from Answers in Genesis provides some sage analysis of the state of the churches and where they dropped the ball. What are the fatal compromises that have undermined the power of the Gospel and the effectiveness of the church in the 21st Century?

Kevin and Bill Jack address the growing antithesis that continues to sweep the public schools. Christians working in the public school system now have a very short lifespan before they will be asked to go against their Christian beliefs in some way, shape, or form.

The grand larceny committed by the U.S. governments is destabilizing the nation. The leading socialist in the U.S. government, Senator Bernie Sanders, calls it "The most consequential piece of legislation. . . since FDR and the New Deal of the 1930s." But the approach taken to surrender everything to big government socialism has created massive destabilization of an entire economy and monetary system. Confidence has disappeared in banks and the monetary system. But what about crypto-currency? It turns out crypto is 20 times more destabilized than the banks, at least based on the largest heist in history (just committed). So. . . now what? 

While seven billion people are getting the mRNA shot, is it still okay to claim a little Romans 14 Christian liberty on health issues? While the main-stream media and the powers that be are full court press on getting everybody shot up, is there any room for dissent or discussion left on this? And should you quit your job if the shot was mandated? These questions are hard on the minds of Christians and liberty-lovers now. Here's a careful, biblically-argued case for liberty. 

A post-Christian world and a disintegrating civilization is best described as that in which women become life-takers, rather than life-givers. But, in a post-Christian society, Christians will find themselves conscientiously objecting and adjusting cultural points of engagement. Where Christians have failed to impact culture when it comes to abortion, homosexuality, and civil government, is it possible that they might still plant gardens and seek the peace of the city? 

While the world is madly redistributing the wealth and grabbing for everybody else's money, what are Christians doing to reinstate biblical charity? Davy Crockett's famous story "Not Yours to Give" introduces an important lesson to this world. Here is a wonderful example of how Christians can constructively plant gardens in the ashes of socialist tyrannies and deconstructed societies. 

According to George Barna’s America’s Worldview Inventory, a person’s worldview (the lens through which they see and understand the world) is solidified by age 13. Although someone’s worldview may change or adjust throughout their life, the overwhelming majority of Americans have their worldview in place before high school, with little to no change afterward. Barna’s research shows that today only 6% of American adults hold a biblical worldview. Even more troubling is the finding that only 21% of those who regularly attend evangelical churches have a biblical worldview—despite the fact that 81% think they do. Guest host Adam McManus interviews David Closson, the Director for The Center for Biblical Worldview at Family Research Council about his column entitled The Duty of Parents in Education. God has clearly outlined parents’ responsibility for their children. When Moses was passing down the law of God to the people of Israel at Mount Sinai, God commanded parents: “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.” (Deut. 6:6-7) By issuing these commands to parents, God made them ultimately responsible for educating and instilling a biblical worldview in their children.
