Purpose of Mars Trip: Prove Evolution - For God’s Non-Existence - Spare No Expense

March 12, 2021

Boy, these modern institutions spend $1.17 trillion on space travel to prove that God doesn't exist. . . to find their own place and their own way in the universe. The Perseverance-Mission to Mars is no different than the rest of it. Spare no expense when it comes to that passionate human need to prove that God doesn't exist. But what is real science? It must be practical and proper dominion work according to God's command. We point out how Christians have done real science, while the post-Christian world more and more destroys it.

The Biden administration is looking to eliminate all discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation on campuses—ALL campuses connected with Title IX funding. It’s over for the Christian college now. But will free speech survive on the campus? Kevin Swanson and Bill Jack offer varying levels of optimism and pessimism. But, how will the Christian college survive if it is treated as an accommodation industry and a neutral academic institution vs. a Christian discipleship center?

An atom bomb has dropped on the family since 1970. The whole western world loosened divorce laws beginning in 1969. Abortion was legalized in 1973. Cohabitation rates increased 20 fold since 1970. The illegitimacy rate increased seven-fold. Homosexuality was legalized in 2001. And homosexual marriage came in 2015. Now is the time to battle for the biblical family. But first, we need to know how God defines a family. What is the importance of covenant? Why must the father be recognized as the federal head of the family? What is the first step to fixing a broken-down family? These and other questions are considered with Dr. George Scipione who teaches biblical counseling at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

Why the transgendering of the nation is so basic to the Biden agenda is hard to figure out. However, the transgender-revolution conducted in Connecticut is now introduced to the entire country through this one, arguably the most radical Secretary of Education in the nation's history—Miguel Cardona. But at root, this is a man-centered worldview on steroids operating. Christians are looking for a God-centered worldview for their children's education now.

Kids are taught every day, everywhere that "gay is cool." And, the other thing they know is this: Pastors, churches, Paul, and Moses are not cool. But what will be cool next year? The post-Christian culture requires increasing levels of application of that old text: "Come out from among them and be separate saith the Lord." But, how will Christian parents raise their children in the midst of the sexual nihilism now dominating our world? We also address Bethany Christian Adoption Services, recently signed up for the millstone treatment.

Has the US become one big Ponzi scheme? Has the character of the nation come to the point that only Ponzi schemes hold any real interest on the part of investors and voters? We discuss the most unprofitable company in the world, and the profit it pulls from legalized extortion plots. The Federal Reserve stepped up debt monetization in 2008-ish, but as of 2020 the Fed is monetizing debt like it's going out of style. A few years ago, only 11% of the debt was monetized. Now we're looking at 27%. And, roughly 90% of the $4.5 trillion last year was monetized. In case our listeners are unaware of what fractional reserve banking and debt monetization looks like, we provide a little allegory to help out.

The cancel culture is stupid, arbitrary, laughable, as it goes after Dr. Seuss and Huck Finn. . . for all the wrong reasons. Ethics turn arbitrary and are always changing in this asylum. Nobody is safe, not even the Governor of New York. How do we appreciate other cultures, and retain the unity introduced by the Gospel? Huckleberry Finn has served as a major apologetic for the Christian apostasy of the last 100 years, but I guess. . . not anymore.

Are tyrants the ministers of God, or do they surrender their right to rule as far as they abandon righteousness and support wickedness? Kevin Swanson reviews the basics of a biblical worldview with Dr. Robert Fugate, author of the book, “Tyrants are Not the Ministers of God.”

Jesus is arrested for hate speech, technicalities, and misrepresentation. They said, "He said He would break down the temple and build it back in three days," or something to that effect. Paul's gatherings were unsafe. Too much sedition and definitely not enough social distance during the preaching. What happens in a post-Christian culture, with post-Christian judges, and post-Christian laws? Will we be arrested on technicalities? Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus talk about Christians in jail in Canada and America today.

We interact with a question from the listening audience, "Is Ravi Zacharias in heaven?" This initiates a conversation on judging. There are times at which the church is called to judge, and other times where it would be better not to judge. But, we are called not to be a "respecter of persons" when it comes to judging. By a biblical standard, some sins are more egregious in the sight of God than others. We fall into a trap when we go with the world's standard of judging—whether it be the sexual sins of Martin Luther King Jr., or those of Ravi Zacharias.

In this edition of Generations Radio, Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus discuss the Dirty Dozen List that was put out by the National Center on Sexual Exploitation. Tech companies have their priorities wrong, intent on destroying Christian voices, while facilitating the sexual exploitation of children. Jesus said that it would be better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. What should Christians do during this time? Should they boycott these companies? How can Christians protect their children and raise them in the fear of God?
