A Christian school in the Denver area is in hot water with the federal courts for taking the “wrong” position on racial justice. This introduces a discussion on racial justice—a subject that is inciting a great deal of class envy, horrible social divisiveness, and even church dissension. God is sovereign, and He favors privileges and advantages for some over others as He wills. While the government is not called on to solve all inequities, there may be some instances in which the government creates inequities. We give examples.

Should Christian doctors perform sex change surgeries? Given that the federal government is now forcing the issue, would this constitute a capitulation to sin and a fatal compromise of the faith? More fundamentally, why is the government so regulating medicine. . . and education. . . and everything else. The two-step process by which governments destroy every area of life is to first gain control over some institution, and then secondly to corrupt it and pervert it. Will the same thing happen with homeschooling? 

Sadly, the Duggar family has become a circus side show for the world. And, Christians like the Benham brothers or the Duck Dynasty guys turn into kick toys for the “LGBT”-saturated, leftist media cartel. But, we get down to the real root problem with reality TV programs on this edition. Worldly fame is worthless. But for Christians, worldly acclaim will always backfire. Interestingly, HGTV, A&E, and TLC have all featured Christians and cancelled them eventually when they turn out to be anti-LGBT. There is the exception of the Gaines, who were able to distance themselves from that “anti-LGBT” pastor and the Bible. What was it Jesus said in John 15:18?

In 2015, there were 3 workers for 1 retiree. In 2035, there will be 2 workers for 1 retiree. What will Christians do when euthanasia comes on like a storm? Are we making any progress with the IUD abortions, and the Kill Pill abortions? Thirteen percent of women getting abortions claim to be evangelicals, and evangelicals make up barely 20% of the population. And there is no statistical difference between the percentage of evangelicals using IUD’s (long-acting systems of conception control), and the rest of the population. But Jesus called us to love. Families should love babies. Jesus calls us not to kill our babies and our elderly. If the love of God dwells in us, then we will love them and not kill them. Will the Christian church look markedly different from the world in this generation?
