March 27, 2015
Bowe Bergdahl is charged with desertion, but more importantly, why did this homeschooled graduate turn towards the Muslim faith? So . . .what went wrong? We discuss the important of relationships with Scott Brown, director of the National Center for Family Integrated Churches. This program includes: 1. The World View in Five Minutes 2. Irony of ironies, Ontario's sex ed "czar" is arrested and pleads guilty to child porn charges. Is anybody making connections between his day job and his off-hours hobby? Kevin Swanson points out that the ungodly attempt to construct a facade of respectability for their sexual sin. . .but then they have to move the line of respectability every few years. Then, we interview Dr. Joe Boot from the Ezra Institute in Toronto on the direction that Canada is taking. This program includes: 1. The World View in Five Minutes with Adam McManus 2. National media covers a forced abortion in Longmont, Colorado, for the sheer horror of it. But what about the millions of forced abortions in China? Children are the victims of abortion, divorce, and homosexuality. After the first 25 years of this brave new experiment with homosexual households, the jury's back for a verdict on how it's working with the kids. Not good. But it's pretty much the same effects as kids from divorcee' and shack up homes. Sin is sin. Dysfunctional is dysfunctional. Kevin Swanson points out that the sad social effects are only a reminder of our need for a Savior. Hopefully, there is no denying it, at this point! This program includes: 1. Humanist man is still trying prop himself up with this fake optimism. He's ruined his economies, his social order, and his science - but he still thinks the Federal Reserve will save him, or perhaps science will save him. Kevin Swanson points out that America is the 6th worst economy in the world (on the basis of the Debt/GDP ratio). The recovery from the last recession has been anemic at best. . . and we're soon scheduled for the next recession. So are we up for a global economic shock to the system? We also refer to Google CEO, Bill Maris' unabashed faith in science to extend life expectancy to 500 years. Will science save us or kill us? Will this misplaced optimism constitute our ultimate demise?

Christian leaders are recommending civil disobedience where the states are kowtowing to the homosexual agenda, and same-sex mirage. It seems the state has so degraded the marriage license in some places, it is worth about as much as a dog license. The sexual anarchy is almost total anyway. So the question for Christians is, "Why file a marriage license with the state?" For most of Western history, marriage was a contract between two families. Kevin Swanson asks the question, "So how's this big government control of marriage working out for you?" Why not bring back that contract between two families, witnessed by the church?

Kevin Swanson interacts with the Washington Post's and Christianity Today's stories on the seismic shifts that are happening among the non-denominational churches. He points out that the non-denominational church can produce a separation from the historical church. Yet, returning to the mainstream is just as problematic. Do we abandon Christian education, and parental discipleship and oversight, and cease all efforts to reformation? There was one key element missing in the stories on Joshua Harris and Mark Driscoll (and the mega-church earthquakes). Discipleship. This program includes: 1. Christian leaders, Christian colleges, and Christian evangelical churches are increasingly capitulating to the zeitgeist. Ben Carson as supporting homosexual unions "for many years." VP Biden has supported homosexual marriage for two years. Wheaton College has added a lesbian to the staff as a Ministry associate for Spiritual Care. Should Christian colleges discriminate on the basis of homosexuality and other sins? These questions discussed on this edition of Generations. This program includes: 1. The World View in Five Minutes with Adam McManus 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson

Kevin Swanson interviews Todd Friel from Wretched Radio on the relationship of family, church, and state, and how home education plays into this.

Guest host Adam McManus [www.AdamMcManus.net] chats with Pastor Dwight McKissic of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas about McKissic’s outrage over the decision by the American Baptist College in Nashville to host three advocates of homosexual marriage on Tuesday, March 17th.  One of the three speakers is a lesbian named Yvette Flunder, a United Church of Christ Bishop, who has been in an unnatural relationship with Shirley Miller for 30 years and is legally married in California.   McKissic, who founded the National Baptist Fellowship of Concerned Pastors, declared that, “The American Baptist College is deliberately exposing young people to unorthodox views in a worship and preaching setting that wrongly affirms them as biblical truth, rather than more appropriately discussing them in a solely academic exercise." To object, call Dr. Forest Harris, the president of the American Baptist College, and politely disagree with his unbiblical position: 615.256.1463.  Also, you can sign this petition: https://www.change.org/p/national-baptist-convention-usa-inc-and-american-baptist-college-your-signature-on-the-following-petition-is-documentation-that-president-forrest-harris-of-abc-and-president-jerry-young-of-the-national-baptist-convention-usa-inc-are-duly-notified-t

The pop release, Blurred Lines broke pop chart records for the decade. . .and the 7th commandment. . .and the 8th commandment. Kevin Swanson takes a look at the trajectory of Taylor Swift, who follows in the time-tested tradition of Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry and the others. Then, we take a look at the least skilled, the least competent adults in the world. You guessed it! The American Millennials. Our recommendation: Don’t be a millennial. Get off the train. Franklin Graham tells Fox and Friends that persecution’s coming to Christians here in America. Who will be the first to go to jail? We consider this question on this edition of the program. Then, we report on the Navy Chaplain persecuted for his faith, relieved of duties for his biblical teaching on homosexuality. And, what about families persecuted by their families for homeschooling their kids? Kevin Swanson and Steve Vaughan discuss how to handle the push back. This program includes: 1.
